Buda is a two year old red, male Jindo who lives in Baltimore , MD. He will be neutered and is current on vaccinations. He weighs about 45 pounds. He was found in a park where he had been living and needs a new loving home. Buda does well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. Any other dogs in the house should be dog friendly and not be overly dominant. He would also do well as an only dog. He might do well with cats after proper introductions and supervision. He has seen them from a few feet away and does not seem to have interest in them Buda does not live with children and should not be placed in a home with children under 14 years old. Please note all children must be supervised by parents when interacting with dogs. Buda gets along with calm, respectful and mature teenagers with a proper introduction. As with most Jindos, he is not overly friendly with strangers at first. He is wary and aloof until he feels comfortable. Buda loves going for daily walks with his owner. Jindos must be walked on leash at all times since they are not reliable off leash. Buda rolls over when you approach so you can rub his belly. We play chase each other around the house. He really is a great boy. He lays around all day, sometimes at my feet and has a great temperament and disposition. He sleeps next to my bed at night. It took me a day for him to trust me and knew I was there for his benefit. He would be an excellent addition to a home with other friendly dogs. He is silly and likes to play. Buda knows sit, wait (stay), we are now learning down. He understands "no" but it's more of the tone you use. He is very intelligent and learns easily.
Buda is an indoor dog who is used to living indoors with his family. Dogs are pack animals and prefer to live inside with their family members. He is housetrained and is well behaved in the house. Caution must be taken around doors since some Jindos have a tendency to door bolt. Please complete an
application and mention Buda in the comments section if you can provide
a loving and appropriate home. Home visit and vet references required.
Adoption fee $100. Loving homes only who are looking for a companion.
