Geenie is a 4 year old. spayed female, located in Studio City, CA (Los Angeles area). 

Geenie was rescued from a man who purchased her for breeding purposes and literally threw her into his back yard and never looked at her again. For months, she was getting out, running the streets, and avoiding her would-be rescuer.  Geenie was extremely distrustful of strangers and so it took a neighbor, whom Geenie trusted, to capture her.  Geenie took her cues from the neighbor and immediately had a change in attitude towards the rescuer, laying down and showing affection towards her. 

Once Geenie was captured, the owner was notified of existing leash laws and he consented to release Geenie into the rescuer's custody. 

Geenie has been under the care of her foster home for many months now and an update will be posted shortly.
