![]() Gigi is a 13 year old, red female Jindo living in Santa Monica, CA. She is spayed and current on vaccinations. She weighs 33 pounds.
![]() Gigi’s owner died after 10 years of companionship. Her daughter in law has kept her for 3 years but cannot keep any longer due to her own health. Gigi is healthy but has lost her hearing due to her age. Gigi does well with male and female dogs and indoor cats. Outdoor cats she will chase. Gigi gets along with all adults, teenagers, children and strangers. She is shy at first with strangers but friendly when she gets to know them. At her age, she should not be placed with small children or overly active households. Gigi is housetrained and leash trained. She always zigzags hunting on walks and she knows nothing of the danger of cars. Jindos must be walked on leash at all times since they are not reliable off leash. She does not chew anything in the house. Gigi used to throw tennis balls over her own shoulder for hours but not much these days. Her owner says that she is full of sweetness, femininity and does affectionate head-butting. Gigi is an indoor dog and enjoys spending time indoors with her family. Dogs are pack animals and prefer to live inside with their family members. Caution must be taken around doors since some Jindos have a tendency to door bolt. Gigi used to door bolt when she was young, but has stopped. A change in homes might make her attempt to door bolt again until she gets settled.
Please complete an application and mention Gigi in the comments section if you can provide a loving and appropriate home. Home visit and vet references required. Adoption fee $50. Loving homes only who are looking for a companion.
