Loulou is a 2 year old female Jindo/Shiba mix located in Los Angeles, CA. She was found at Silver Lake dog park and was brought to the North Central LA city shelter. She is currently being fostered by a good samaritan. Loulou is 26 lbs and 18 inches at the shoulder. She is spayed and up-to-date on shots. She has been around male and female dogs and has not shown any aggression towards them. She is very curious around cats and is currently being supervised around them. It would be best not to place her in a home with small animals. Loulou is initially shy with strangers, but once she trusts a person, she is really a sweet, playful girl. This resilient girl absolutely loves walks and is curious about the people and dogs she meets.
She does the play bow and loves plush toys. She picks up easily what items are chew toys or not. She is playful and yet she can also be very happy just chilling out while people watch tv, read a book, etc. She can be a real cuddler.
Loulou is house-trained, leash-trained, and is a good car dog. She does not object to being lifted up or being brushed. Though it appears she did not have formal obedience training, she picks up commands easily and has already learned SIT in the short time her foster home has had her. Loulou would make a great addition to a variety of households, but ideally, she may be best with adults or older children. She may be best wtih another dog or someone who can spend time socializing her. If interested in adopting Loulou or learning
