Lucky is a four year old red male jindo who needs a new home by the end of July because his owner has to move and is unable to take him with her.   He is currently located in Pleasanton, CA (SF Bay Area).  He is up-to-date on shots. 

Lucky has a very mellow, quiet temperament and is non-aggressive to other dogs.  He is that rare jindo who is able to get along with cats, just ignores them.  He would love a yard to play in or a female companion from the dog world. 

He has been living in a home with a teenager but has not lived with children and should not be placed in a home with children under 10 years olds.  Please note that all children must be supervised by parents when interacting with dogs.  As with most jindos, he is not overly friendly with strangers but if properly introduced, will allow gentle, respectful petting. 

Lucky loves going for walks and this is his favorite activity.  He is gentle on lead and heels properly.  He does not react to other dogs.  (Jindos must be walked on leash at all times since they are not reliable off leash.) 

Lucky is very smart and funny and learns new things easily.  

He knows the following commands:  sit, stay, come, go, lie down, heel, leave it, other side, out of the kitchen, go to your bed, upstairs, downstairs, and outside.

Lucky is used to living indoors with his family and will need to sleep inside.  He is well-behaved in the house and content in the home.  He does not chew on things or door bolt. 

His owner describes him as a “happy guy.”  He actually smiles when he’s pleased.
