Available Jindo:  Mina

Mina is a 13 year old, red female Jindo living in Minot Air Force Base in ND.  She is spayed and current on vaccinations. She is very healthy and active for her age.

Mina does well with some male dogs but should be placed as an only dog unless she can meet the male dog first.  The male should be a submissive male.  Mina does not do well with female dogs or with cats.

Mina gets along with all adults, teenagers and strangers.  She is friendly to them but feels threatened by small children.  She has already bit the one year old child she lives with and there is another baby on the way.  She is constantly separated from everyone now and her owners want her to have a better life.

Mina is housetrained, crate trained and leash trained.  She does not chew anything in the house.  She knows sit, come, lay down, roll over, shake, stay, go (away).

Mina loves raw hide squares after a bath.  She enjoys daily walks and she is great on the leash, but enjoys open spaces off the leash much more.

No one can tell she is 13 yrs old, they all think she looks and acts younger.  She is a very sweet girl, just not to children.  She is fairly well trained.  For example, she won't eat her food unless you say it's ok.  She loves going outside with you, whether it's on short walks or out camping.

Mina is an indoor dog and enjoys spending time indoors with her family.  Dogs are pack animals and prefer to live inside with their family members.  Caution must be taken around doors since some Jindos have a tendency to door bolt.  Jindos must be walked on leash at all times since they are not reliable off leash.

Please complete an application and mention Mina in the comments section if you can provide a loving and appropriate home.  Home visit and vet references required.  Adoption fee $ 50.  Loving homes only who are looking for a companion.
