Oliver Twist is a four year old black and tan, male Jindo mix who lives in Westminster , CA . He is neutered and current on vaccinations. He weighs about 55 pounds.

Unfortunately, his owners are moving and are not able to take him with them.

Oliver has an alpha personality with other dogs and gets along with some male dogs. He tends to get along with most female dogs when introduced properly. Oliver should be placed as an only dog or possibly with a nondominant female. He does go to the park all the time and is usually very independent.  He gets along with all dogs that leave him alone. Oliver does not do well with cats and should not live in a home with cats. 

Oliver does not live with children and should not be placed in a home with children under 10 years old. He does get along with respectful children with supervision. Please note all children must be supervised by parents when interacting with dogs. Oliver also gets along with respectful, mature teenagers with a proper introduction. As with most Jindos, he is not overly friendly with strangers at first. He is wary and aloof until he feels comfortable. 

Oliver loves going for daily walks with his owner. Jindos must be walked on leash at all times since they are not reliable off leash. 

Oliver does also love to run free.  Dog parks and beaches are his favorite.  He's also very good at playing ball.  Although, he will only play as long as he wants to. Oliver also enjoys rides in the car.

Every once in awhile he will crave attention and nudge you until you hug him.  He also loves to sit at his owner’s desk while working.  Oliver is extremely loyal and a great dog to have.  

He has a white eye that's been checked & vision is normal.

Oliver knows sit, stay, lay down, head down, go to bed, up, speak, shake, say please, drop, and leave it.  He is very intelligent and learns easily.

Oliver is an indoor dog who is used to living indoors with his family. Dogs are pack animals and prefer to live inside with their family members. He is housetrained and is well behaved in the house. Caution must be taken around doors since he has a tendency to door bolt. Additional training will help prevent this behavior. Oliver is also crate trained.
