Rusty a 6 year old red, male Jindo living in Baltimore , MD. He weighs about 50 pounds, is neutered and current on vaccinations. 

 
We love Rusty very much, but he does not get along with our other male Jindo. We have been trying for three years to improve their relationship, but they continue to get into fights. 

He gets along with male dogs that are smaller than him and that are not dominant in nature. He also gets along with smaller female dogs. He does not do well with cats. He will not be placed in a home with another male dog. A female dog is a possibility depending on the personality of the female. Ideally, he would be best in a home with no other dogs.

He is not aggressive towards people at all, but he is fearful of people he does not know and will cower and bark at them. He also prefers females. Jindos are known to be aloof and reserved with strangers which is a characteristic.

He will walk around the house with toys in his mouth carrying them proudly. But he does not like to share his toys with other dogs. He does let people reach their hand into his mouth and take a toy.

Rusty is a sweet boy. He loves to give kisses and get his belly rubbed. He likes to play with tennis balls. His favorite spot is between you and the door. The best part about having Rusty is that he will guard the house and you from indoors but he is not aggressive towards people he does not know that may enter the house. He really is a sweet boy. He does have a sensitive stomach which seems to be common with Jindos and needs to be on the same dog food consistently.
 
He is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. He knows sit, stay and give paw.

Rusty enjoys taking daily walks. Understand that Jindos must be walked on leash at all times since they are not reliable off leash. Rusty is an indoor dog. Dogs are pack animals and prefer to live inside with their family members. Caution must be taken around doors since some Jindos have a tendency to door bolt especially in new environments.
