![]() Sahn is a two year old white, female Jindo mix who lives in Lawrence, KS. She is spayed and is current on vaccinations. She weighs about 43 pounds.
Her owner has to travel a lot due to her job. In the year 2007, the owner had to leave Sahn at kennels or under the care of her neighbors for almost 6 months (gone from a week to 3 months). The owner's job continuously requires a lot of traveling and it may not be in the best interest of Alex to be with the current owner. Her owner does care about her very much and would like to find a home where people will be home more often.
Sahn plays well with all the dogs at the
dog day care center. Also, Sahn has a sister Alex
and she loves her sister. Sahn should not be placed in a home
with cats.
Sahn does not live with children and should
not be placed in a home with children under 14 years old. Please
note all children must be supervised by parents when interacting with dogs.
Sahn gets along with calm, respectful and mature teenagers with a proper
introduction. She seems to show attraction with males more than females
at times. She is friendly with strangers with a proper introduction
and shows interest and quickly starts kissing (licking).
Sahn enjoys going for daily walks with her owner. Jindos must be walked on leash at all times since they are not reliable off leash.
Sahn also loves to run away from her older
sister Alex with a toy in her mouth and
waits for her sister to chase her. She is a kisser! She loves
to lick your hand, face, loves to be rubbed on her tummy.
Sahn tends to lick the nail clipper, so
it's been difficult to clip her nails. She does well with bathing.
Sahn is an indoor dog who is used to living indoors with her family and she also enjoys going outside. Dogs are pack animals and prefer to live inside with their family members. She is house trained, crate trained and is well behaved in the house. She does not chew. She sometimes will dig outside. Caution must be taken around doors since some Jindos have a tendency to door bolt.
